The Cleveland Browns, by all accounts, have been sold to Tennessee businessman, Jimmy Haslam III for over or right at $1 billion.

For the life of me I can’t imagine that the Browns are worth that amount of money, or that someone is even willing to pay that amount for the….Cleveland Browns!!

If I’m a Cleveland fan I’m a little worried that my owner has the ability to make good decisions, cause paying that much for the Browns seems like a bad decision.

It is also a known fact that Haslam III, is also a minority investor in the arch-rival Pittsburgh Steelers. An investment he will obviously have to give up.

It should really be interesting to see what moves Haslam III makes right away, if any. Certainly Mike Holmgren can’t feel too comfortable in his position. Holmgren is rumored to be leaving at the end of this season anyway.

Yes, shin-kicking is a sport, that goes down in rural England. And apparently it’s taken pretty seriously there….Ouch!!
