Rams working to fix Bradford’s “Cabin Fever”

Through two NFL seasons, Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has absorbed a whopping 70 sacks in 26 career games. ESPN’s Ron Jaworski reviewed the 2011 game tape and observed that Bradford has developed “Cabin Fever” in the pocket, playing tentatively and anticipating the pass rush, sometimes when pass rushers aren’t even there. Though Bradford says he…

Daniel Snyder preaches patience with Redskins

Patience is not the first word that comes to mind when one thinks of Daniel Snyder’s tenure as the owner of the Redskins. New York Jets looking QB Jason Campbell?

The New York Jets are in search of a new backup quarterback for QB Mark Sanchez. Several reports have linked former Miami Dolphins QB Chad Henne to the Jets based on the basis that his former head coach, Tony Sparano, is now with the Jets as the team’s offensive coordinator. However, another possibility for a backup to Mark Sanchez has been floated based on another member of the revamped New York Jets coaching staff. QB Jason Campbell.

According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, there have been some discussions about adding Jason Campbell to the Jets roster once the free agency period begins on March 13th.

Raiders’ Campbell hurt, leaves game vs. 49ers

SAN FRANCISCO — Oakland Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell left the Raiders’ exhibition game against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday night with an injury in the second quarter.

Campbell was hurt late in the second quarter on a scramble play. He was tackled by Justin Smith and appeared to take a forearm to the helmet from linebacker Ahmad Brooks. Campbell was down on the ground briefly while being checked out by trainers.

There was no immediate word on extent of the injury. Campbell was sitting on the bench after being replaced by Trent Edwards. Campbell was 5 for 7 for 74 yards in two-plus series.

Campbell got a stinger last year in the exhibition game against the 49ers that affected him early in the season.
