Witness Of Lindsay’s Latest Accident Confirms She’s Lying AGAIN!

We know Lindsay Lohan has a hard time taking responsibility for her actions, but doesn’t she at least know by now that she shouldn’t claim she didn’t do something when there are tons of witnesses on hand to immediately refute her?!

Apparently not! Even after all of her legal, ahem, ‘hiccups!’

Although the troubled actress was arrested this morning in Manhattan for allegedly fleeing the scene after clipping a pedestrian in the knee with her Porsche, she’s apparently been telling friends that she didn’t even realize she had hit anyone, and despite earlier claims, never left her car to assess the damage she had done!

However, witnesses who were in the alley between the Dream Hotel and the Maritime restaurant, where she was attempting to park, have immediately come forward to say exactly the opposite!

They explain:

“She’s driving in this freight area, going very slow. She’s hitting her horn because there’s a lot of people in the area. The crowd moves but she kind of brushes against this one guy. He runs up to her, tells her she hit him. They get out of the car, there’s some interaction with her, her entourage and the guy.”

Well, isn’t that funny?

She claimed she had no idea that she had even hit anyone until she was arrested for it later on in the evening!

Must have been difficult to erase someone chasing after her — who claimed to be injured — from her mind in such a short time span!

Ugh.

Can’t wait to hear from everyone what else she’s omitted from her selective memory about this evening as this continues to develop!

Vick goes down

August 20, 2012 – JP

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michale Vick was forced out of the game tonight against the New England Patriots after taking a nasty shot to the rib. Vick was tagged while heaving a deep ball leaving his midsection fully exposed. He attempted to get to his feet, but immediately dropped to a knee and was attended to by Eagles medical staff. Last report had Vick taking x-rays on his ribs.

Vick has only played 16 games in one season during his career. The last time he was healthy for an entire season of football he was in prison. The entire season for the Eagles rides on Vick since their backup broke his hand and third string option is a rookie with no experience.

According to NFL.com via ESPN, the MRI of 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs came back OK, after showing no significant damage to his knee.

“An MRI on the left knee of San Francisco 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs showed “no major damage,” NFL.com reported Sunday,” wrote ESPN.com.

My guess is that Jacobs suffered some sort of ligament sprain and will be out the rest of the preseason.  We’ll have to wait and see what the 49ers tell us.

Brandon Meriweather’s MRI reveals no significant damage

AP

According to Mark Maske of The Washington Post, an MRI on Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather’s knee has revealed that he didn’t suffer any significant damage to his knee during Saturday night’s preseason game against the Bears.

“Washington Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather’s MRI exam Sunday of his injured left knee revealed no significant damage, according to a person with knowledge of the test result.

“It’s not clear how long Meriweather will be sidelined but it appears that the Redskins avoided suffering a loss to their defense, just as they did with linebacker Brian Orakpo’s injury. According to Orakpo’s agent, Ben Dogra, the MRI taken Sunday of the injury to the area of Orakpo’s left shoulder showed no serious injury and Orakpo is expected to play in the regular season opener,” wrote Maske.

Leslie Frazier hasn’t ruled Adrian Peterson playing this week

AP

Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier hasn’t ruled out running back Adrian Peterson from possibly playing in this week’s preseason game.

“We’re going to give him a little bit more each day, see how he responds and continue to determine what’s the next step,” Frazier said on Sunday, per 1500 ESPN Radio. “Just go day to day. We have some ideas of how we want to approach it, but a lot of it depends on how he feels with some of the things we’re going to give him this week.”

A part of me still feels like the Vikings are rushing Peterson back.

Ahmad Bradshaw’s hand should be just fine

AP

According to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger,  Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw’s injured hand should be just fine.

“There’s no break and Bradshaw said he merely suffered a popped cyst on the top of his hand when he hit it on a player’s helmet,” reported Garafolo.

“I’ve had it for a while,” Bradshaw said after the game. “We didn’t know what to do with it. It WAS still there and then on one of the runs I hit it on someone’s helmet and it just popped.

“There was a little pain in it. It feels good. We’re just being cautious about it.”

Chargers’ Vincent Brown breaks his ankle

AP

According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, Chargers wide receiver Vincent Browns suffered a broken ankle in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Cowboys.  He’ll likely be out for the next eight weeks.

Vincent Brown has broken ankle. Expected to miss at least eight weeks. That means at least five games, probably.

— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) August 19, 2012

Vincent Brown will have surgery tomorrow on broken ankle. This is big … Said one veteran: “He’s our best receiver.”

— UTKevinAcee (@UTKevinAcee) August 19, 2012

This is certainly a big blow to the Chargers offense, since they were expecting big things from Brown this season.  Now he’ll be forced to miss a good part of the season.
