But I want someone to tell me, ‘We don’t want you.’ I’ve always been [...]
The Bulls are keeping such a tight lid on Rose’s recovery that they won’t even address whether his knee has recovered enough to allow him to begin shooting.
Because trainer Fred Tedeschi said Rose would begin spot-shooting 12 weeks after the surgery he had May 12, though, it’s fair to assume he has been shooting while [...]
In his strongest implication yet that he either will forego surgery on the torn ligament in his left wrist altogether or postpone it until after the 2012-13 season, Deng said he planned to start camp on time.
“Did I look like I needed (surgery)?” Deng said Monday evening. “I’m fine right now. I feel great. There [...]

Luol Deng always knew this Olympic experience would be about more than final scores.
So minutes after Great Britain opened preliminary round play at a raucous Basketball Arena Sunday night with a 95-75 loss to Russia, the All-Star Bulls’ forward offered as much postgame eloquence as he had in-game sweat while playing all but 63 seconds.

The Orlando Magic would like to seriously engage the Chicago Bulls in trade talks for Dwight Howard, but the All-Star center’s apparent reluctance to make a long-term commitment to Chicago has all but killed the discussions, league sources told CBSSports.com.
The feeling among rival executives remains that the Magic seem intent on rolling the dice and keeping Howard for the rest of the season, hoping a long playoff run, emotional ties to Orlando and an extra year and $29 million they could offer would persuade him to stay beyond this season. But the move would be highly risky, given that Howard has refused to publicly commit to the Magic — a stance that sources view as a strong sign that he’d leave as a free agent if he isn’t traded.

The Chicago Bulls have been informed by star point guard Derrick Rose “that he wants to play with Pau Gasol if Chicago is able to swing a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers for the veteran power forward,” according to SheridanHoops.com. “He hasn’t said so publicly, but he has made that known privately,” a source tells the site.
The Bulls would send Carlos Boozer and another player to L.A. in the deal, the site reports.
Gasol nearly went to the Houston Rockets before the season got started as part of the three-team deal that would have had Chris Paul moving to the Lakers, but then Commissioner David Stern nixed that deal. Since then, folks have wondered if and when Gasol would be dealt.
