No Dark Knight Rises Director’s Cut Will Ever Be Released

Remember when we told you about that that sweet Dark Knight Rises scene explaining Bane’s backstory that costume designer Lindy Hemming says was cut out of the film?

We’re never EVER going to see it!

Fans of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy were sincerely hoping for an extended director’s cut edition when the blockbuster was released on DVD, but the filmmaker’s reps have confirmed there are no such plans.

It doesn’t sound like there will be any deleted scenes either, as Nolan has said in the past:

“Pretty much with all my films, there are very few deleted scenes, which always disappoints the DVD crowd.”

Color us disappointed, but we’ll survive.

Dark Knight Director Christopher Nolan Is Suing Past And Present Agencies Over Commission!

Christopher Nolan is the LAST person in Hollywood we ever expected to get into greedy legal dramz over money.

Fortunately, the Dark Knight Rises director’s image is safe because he’s not suing for any money. He’s just suing to be left alone!

The blockbuster filmmaker and his producer/wife, Emma Thomas, filed a lawsuit in El Lay on Thursday to ask courts to decide a monetary conflict between CAA — Nolan’s former agency — and his current agency, WME.

WME wants commission from movies that were initially brought into the studio system by CAA, while the latter still says it’s owed money from those movies as well.

Nolan and Thomas are willing to pay whoever is legally owed the money, but just want to get out of the conflict they are stuck in the middle of.

Geez. This is, like, the nicest lawsuit ever! LOLz!
