It did not take long for Urban Meyer to take action.  One day after his arrest on charges of domestic violence and assault, Storm Klein has been dismissed from the team.  Coach Meyer said:

“The charges filed against Storm Klein violate the core values of the Ohio State Football Program. As a result Storm has been removed from the team. It has been made very clear that this type of charge will result in dismissal. If there are any changes in the charges we will reevaluate his status.”

As for now, the door is open for a number of players to grasp playing time, especially at middle linebacker.  Curtis Grant is expected to start at the position, but others battling for playing time include redshirt freshman Conner Crowell, and incoming freshmen Camren Williams and Luke Roberts.
