Report: Revis plans to report to camp on time

Jets CB Darrelle Revis plans to show up to camp on time, according to Dennis Waszak Jr. of The Associated Press.

Jets players report to camp in Cortland, N.Y. next Thursday, and Revis is expected to be there.

Two years ago, Revis held out of training camp for 36 days before signing a four-year, $46 million contract. During spring practices, Revis was noncommittal about reporting to camp on time.

Arguably the league’s top cornerback, Revis is set to earn a base salary of $4.5 million for 2012 (plus a $3 million roster bonus) after making $32.5 million in the first two years of his deal. The four-time Pro Bowler has 18 career interceptions.
